What to Expect

  • ✧ Arrive a few minutes early 

    Give yourself a few quiet breaths before stepping into the healing space. Rushing in is a form of resistance. Let yourself arrive. 

    ✧ Eat something light 

    A small meal or snack 1–2 hours before your session helps ground your body, especially for acupuncture or bodywork. 

    ✧ Wear loose, comfortable clothing 

    If you're coming for acupuncture, assisted stretch therapy, or energy work, wear clothing that allows easy access to arms, legs, and back. 
    For massage therapy, you'll be professionally draped, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered. 

    ✧ Hydrate 

    Water helps flush out what we release. Come hydrated and continue drinking water after your treatment. 

  • ✧ We’ll start with a check-in and intake

    We’ll discuss how you’re feeling—physically, emotionally, energetically and also discuss updates, improvements or changes. Whether it’s your first session or your fiftieth, your treatment is customized every time. 

    ✧ You’ll receive a blended healing experience

    No two sessions are the same. I draw from multiple healing traditions and modalities including: 

    • Energy Balancing

    • Cupping, Gua Sha, or Moxa (when appropriate)

    • Reflexology & Assisted Stretching

    • Aromatherapy, and more…

    ✧ You’re always in control

    If something feels too intense, too emotional, or not aligned, speak up. I welcome feedback during and after your session. Healing should feel safe, not forced. 

  • ✧ Give yourself space to integrate

    Don’t rush back into the noise of life. Healing doesn’t end when you get off the table. It continues as your body resets and your energy shifts. 

    ✧ Expect subtle shifts

    You may feel lighter, softer, or even tired afterward. Some notice emotional releases, vivid dreams, or a new sense of clarity. This is your system recalibrating

    ✧ Drink plenty of water

    Flush what’s been released. Nourish what’s been restored.

    Suggested Frequency for Follow-Up Appointments

    Depending on your needs and goals, weekly or bi-weekly sessions are recommended for the first 1–2 months to allow for deeper healing. After that, monthly sessions can be effective for ongoing wellness and maintenance.
